Per the current pricing page, Family Pro is planned to include everything in the Family plan, plus unlimited devices (versus the Family plan's cap of 5), a dedicated support line, multi-family management, and advanced activity reports. Pricing for this tier hasn't been announced yet — it's shown as "Coming Soon" rather than with a live price.
Who This Tier Is Likely Aimed At
Based on what's listed, Family Pro looks built for households or situations that outgrow a single 5-device family plan — a large joint family, someone managing safety for multiple separate households (like an eldercare coordinator or an extended family spanning several homes), or anyone who specifically needs more devices than the Family plan supports.
Should You Wait for It?
If the Family plan's 5-device limit already covers your household comfortably, there's no reason to wait — the Family plan is available today and covers the features most families actually use. Waiting only makes sense if you specifically need more than 5 devices under one account or multi-family management right now; for everyone else, starting on Family and upgrading later, if Family Pro fits when it launches, is the more practical path.
