Annual vs Monthly Billing:
Which Raksha Plan Saves More
The math is simple once it's laid out — the harder question is whether a year-long commitment fits how the family actually plans to use the app.

The Actual Numbers
The Family plan is ₹75/month, or ₹529 billed annually. Twelve months paid monthly comes to ₹900 a year; the annual plan brings that down to ₹529 — a saving of ₹371, or roughly 41%, for committing to a year upfront rather than paying month to month.
When Annual Is the Clear Choice
If the family is already confident it'll be using Raksha's paid features for the long haul — safe zones on a permanent home, an ongoing arrangement with an elderly parent or child — the annual plan is simply the same service at a meaningfully lower effective monthly cost, with one payment instead of twelve.
When Monthly Still Makes Sense
Trying the paid plan for the first time and wanting to confirm it fits before committing for a year
A short-term need — a temporary situation like a child's single semester abroad or a short recovery period after surgery
Uncertain finances where a smaller monthly payment is easier to manage than one larger annual charge
Switching Between Them Later Is Fine
There's no need to decide forever on the first purchase — it's entirely reasonable to start monthly, get comfortable with the paid features over a few months, and switch to annual once it's clear the family will keep using it. The annual discount is available whenever the switch is made, not just as a first-purchase offer.
